Encapsulating our desire to bring listeners unrivalled flexibility combined with the the highest levels of fidelity and sonic expression, the Rossini series offers a choice of high-performance playback separates or integrated components. Choose from a dedicated Network Streaming DAC, Master Clock and CD/SACD Transport, or an integrated Player which brings together DAC, Streamer and Transport in a single, elegant chassis.

Rossini components utilise the same core technologies seen in our renowned Vivaldi range to deliver audio recordings with stunning clarity. Whether streaming or spinning discs, Rossini offers the same expansive soundstage, excellent tonal balance, wide dynamic range, and ultra-low distortion that has become synonymous with dCS. Components are designed to expose the emotional heart of a recording, and render the finest details with stunning resolution – bringing listeners a fluid and natural sound, where voices and instruments can be located with pinpoint precision, and each note takes on a vivid, palpable presence.

All dCS products are designed, hand-assembled and tested at our Cambridgeshire headquarters. We use custom-built test equipment to check performance across all possible configurations, and conduct numerous inspections to ensure products are built to the highest standards. Performance is our number one focus and this informs each design decision we make – from the choice of materials, to the layout of internal components. Beyond this, we strive to create products that are built to last, and have a timeless appeal. We adopt a ground-up approach, developing our own bespoke technologies, hardware and software so that we can deliver the best possible sound for listeners…

Over the years, we have delivered major hardware and software updates to Rossini owners. These include 2.0, which brought new features and sonic improvements, plus the Ring DAC APEX, a major hardware upgrade for the dCS Ring DAC, which brings several benefits, from improved dynamics, rhythm and timing to enhanced resolution.

The latest-generation Rossini DAC and Player benefit from some of our latest advancements  in D-A conversion, featuring Ring DAC APEX hardware as standard.
