Pre-owned dCS products are available to purchase through our authorised retailers: a carefully chosen team of trusted experts who are dedicated to delivering outstanding sales and aftercare support in their area.

Listeners can select from pre-owned Dealer Approved or dCS Certified Pre-Owned products.

Both Dealer Approved & dCS Certified Pre-Owned products come with a warranty which is non-transferable.

All units are put through a comprehensive test process to ensure they are in full working order and excellent cosmetic condition.

Dealer Approved products are inspected and verified by retailers. Our partners receive extensive training and are fully equipped to perform the required checks, tests and updates in their workspace.

dCS Certified Pre-Owned dCS Certified Pre-Owned products are inspected and verified by dCS service technicians at our factory in Cambridgeshire, England. Products are tested using our bespoke AutoTest equipment and service procedures to ensure that it continues to meet our strict performance criteria and if necessary modifications are made and parts replaced.

The Certification Process

Our comprehensive verification process includes over 40 individual steps. We examine the product in detail and test all inputs, outputs and settings to ensure it functions as expected - giving you complete peace of mind over your purchase.

Visual Inspection

We dCS (for dCS Certified Pre-Owned Products, Dealers for Dealer Approved products) conduct a detailed review of the unit, checking fascias, rear escutcheons, base and top plates to ensure it is free of marks, scratches, dents or cosmetic damage.
Function Tests

We ensure each product turns on and functions as expected, and all buttons and volume dials work as expected, before testing Ethernet connections & remote control response. Software is checked and updated as necessary to ensure the unit is at current specification.
Input, Output & Source

We check all available inputs and outputs - connecting various sources and listening to ensure performance remains consistent and the product behaves as it should. We then check all supported audio formats.
Clock Connection

We connect the product to a dCS Master Clock and perform a further array of checks to ensure the unit behaves as it should at all sample rates.
