Lina DAC was conceived as a powerful and versatile music player, designed to excel in a range of listening setups, from intimate headfi systems, to larger two-channel arrangements. It supports hi-res streaming from all major platforms, and playback from a wealth of digital sources.

It delivers all the qualities listeners have come to expect from dCS: stunning resolution, wide dynamic range, crisp, clear playback and an expansive soundstage. This is achieved with bespoke technologies that allow us to preserve the finest of sonic and spatial details, whilst reducing noise and distortion to vanishing levels.

Lina DAC’s innovative design allows us to deliver a huge range of features in a compact footprint, without compromising on sound or performance, thanks to a powerful flex-rigid circuit board containing over 2,000 components. Its flexible architecture brings near unlimited scope for future upgrades and enhancements – from new features to performance improvements – ensuring a state-of-the-art performance for years to come…

Effortless streaming

Lina DAC is designed with convenience in mind - allowing you to easily browse, stream and navigate music from multiple sources. It supports playback from TVs, computers, storage drives and Transports, and supports hi-res streaming from all major platforms. Listeners can browse and access tracks via management software such as Roon or Audirvana, or the dCS Mosaic app, which allows you to stream music and control all the settings on your dCS device through a single, unified interface.

Our renowned Ring DAC platform provides excellent detail retrieval and ultra-low distortion - allowing listeners to hear more of the fine details in their music, from individual sounds to subtle timing and spatial cues that bring a sense of space and depth. A flex-rigid circuit board enables us to deliver all core features and functions on a single PCB for optimal performance, whilst the aluminium chassis - milled using state-of-the-art five-axis machines - provides a rigid, non resonant case for reduced noise and vibration. Each element has been honed and refined to ensure the best possible sound - reflecting our uncompromising approach to audio engineering.

All Lina DACs are hand-assembled and tested at our Cambridgeshire headquarters by our skilled team of technicians. We use custom built equipment to rigorously check performance across all possible configurations, and conduct numerous inspections to ensure each unit meets our strict build and test criteria. Products are designed by dCS engineers - a team with decades of experience developing state-of-the-art components for music lovers and professionals.
