Whether you’re listening with custom IEMs or reference-level over-ears, the Lina Headphone Amplifier will drive your headphones to the best of their abilities, whilst honouring their unique sound and characteristics. It confidently drives a vast range of designs, adapting to suit their individual requirements for optimal performance.

The amplifier delivers plenty of power and grip, without ever adding its own sonic signature. Its unique Class AB design keeps heat and power usage under control, whilst avoiding distortion problems that can affect sound, for a natural, revealing and compelling sonic experience. Wide dynamic range, low noise floor, and excellent linearity ensure listeners can appreciate even the finest musical details – from individual sounds to the sense of space and depth within a recording.

Designed to complement a vast range of audio equipment, the Lina Headphone Amplifier can be paired with a wide range of sources – including our Vivaldi, Rossini and Lina DACs and Players – to create a complete headfi system. As with all dCS products, it is tested and hand-assembled at our Cambridgeshire headquarters, and engineered to provide the highest levels of performance for years to come.

The Lina Headphone Amp benefits from a unique Super Class AB output stage, which combines the fidelity of a Class A amplifier with the thermal properties of a Class B. This design keeps heat and power usage under control, whilst avoiding the crossover distortion problems often associated with Class B systems, for optimal performance with stunning resolution.

Our engineers have taken great care to ensure it can cope with the differing voltage and current requirements of various headphone types, and deliver optimal sound with a range of digital music sources (including both high and low impedance components).  This is achieved through several features – from low output impedance, to a wide range of digital inputs.
