A combined Digital-to-Digital converter, upsampler, and streamer, this multi-functional component provides access to audio from a range of sources, including streaming services, storage drives and external devices, and converts audio from its native sample rate to high-resolution DSD, DXD or PCM.

With Vivaldi, we reimagined our core technologies - including our Ring DAC™ system, clocking architecture and the dCS Digital Processing Platform – developing a new DNA that brought new standards in sonic fidelity. We also introduced a wealth of new features to support digital streaming, bringing owners more ways to listen, and access to a broader range of music than ever before. It remains one of the most ambitious and advanced dCS playback systems to date – the culmination of several years’ work and exhaustive development. All dCS products are designed, hand-assembled and tested at our Cambridgeshire headquarters. We use custom-built test equipment to check performance across all possible configurations, and conduct numerous inspections to ensure products are built to the highest standards. Performance is our number one focus and this informs each design decision we make – from the choice of materials, to the layout of internal components. Beyond this, we strive to create products that are built to last, and have a timeless appeal. We adopt a ground-up approach, developing our own bespoke technologies, hardware and software so that we can deliver the best possible sound for listeners…
